Today in class we discussed the progress on event promotion and opening ceremonies for the tournament. Each person in the promo team is in charge of securing one local restaurant for a fundraiser. As you know, the Texas Roadhouse fundraiser was last Sunday, which helped raise some money for our event. There are a few more fundraisers in the works, so stay tuned for that as they will be coming up within the next month or so! We have some exciting things planned for the opening ceremonies. Our very own CMU a capella group will be singing the national anthem and the CMU ROTC will be doing the flag ceremony. More fun things will be happening like a do-or-die shot and dance by the Finch Fanatic class!
Next week is Spring Break, therefore we will not be meeting for class. Come back in two weeks to see what we're up to!
